Business is dying when a guest expires on the opening day of Katrina's, new Inn, 'The Tudor Grove B&B'

STORY OUTLINE:

Country Inn, Dead and Breakfast is a PG-13, mystery/com based on novel of same title. The Tudor Grove Bed & Breakfast, Inn is as much a character as its four novice innkeepers: Katrina, part time fashion model, her handyman beau, Bruce, and future in-laws, Mae and the ornery, Tim Versay, who purchased the old estate and lovingly restored it with intentions of running it as an inn while calling it home. Joining them for a visit is Katrina's cute and sassy, niece, Kim and her off duty cop friend, Spike.

At opening day brunch, a guest drops dead in the inn's dining room and soon The Tudor Grove is teeming with police vehicles in the drive, medical personnel conducting checks, flashing cameras, police taking statements, closing with attendants carrying off the corpse of Melinda Konrath in a black body bag.

Was it natural causes, murder or suicide that took the life of the inn's first guest? Until a determination is made, officiating detective, Lieutenant Joseph Klonski asks the innkeepers to remain in the area and promises to have a determination soon. Why would the lieutenant ask the innkeepers to remain in the area? He must really suspect murder!

As if on queue, blond, sexy reporter, Jessie and photog sidekick, Lou, contact the new B&B owners with the promise of doing an interview and a splashy article to run in the local gazette. Dressed in tight red skirt and high heel adorned legs up-to-there, Jessie has more than interviewing on her mind.

With Katrina having enough of the whole sordid circus, she and Kim join forces to set about trying to solve the murder mystery while handling other wickedness in attempts to save the inn from ruin all this while becoming prime suspects in this murder most inn-convenient!
