Announcing the President of Jury and some of the key movies
to be screened on the opening and closing of the festival

Festival dates: December 5-8, 2013

The Festival organisers Rosana Golden and Dean Bentley are honoured and privileged to announce the Angel Film Awards president of jury will be the universally praised Roland Joffé, two-time Oscar nominated, Palme d’Or winning film director.

The entire fesatival line up consists of seventeen premiere films and eleven screenplay nominees from around the globe, shortlisted for the Angel Film Awards.

The opening red carpet evening screenings on Thursday December 5 will be: the World premiere ‘SHOES’- a powerfully moving story of a Jewish victim during the Holocaust, in search of a pair of red shoes she left behind, directed by the Russian film director Costa Fam.

This will be followed by the European Premiere ‘MEDITATION-CREATIVITY-PEACE’ directed by the legendary David Lynch - this film shows Lynch’s commitment to Meditation as a way of changing the world, starting from within. David Lynch will be attending with the award-winning poet and musician Donovan.

The closing ceremony screenings on Saturday December 7 features the World premiere ‘FOR THE LOVE OF CHILDREN’- a film based on the courageous and passionate director Ashid Bahl life’s journey to help less fortunate children around the world, showing that even one person can make a big difference. His work has been recognized by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Angelina Jolie amongst others.
