Log Line:

As above, so below...the world truly is full of stars.

Synopsis:

In a dark world full of symbolism and mysticism, Aleister (a young boy) is plagued by dreams of the Devil.

One night, following such a visitation, Aleister discovers a strange figure waiting at the end of his road beckoning him.

Aleister follows this figure to a run-down church where a funeral is taking place. It is a funeral drowned in rich imagery.

Aleister cannot tear his eyes from proceedings, particularly the troupe of masked strangers who single him out to join their danse macabre.

When the funeral is over and the coffin is laid in the ground, Aleister comes to realise how special he actually is...

In a dark world full of symbolism and mysticism, a group of masked women wait by the water’s edge for something, or someone who may never come but whose legend is legion.

One night however, they discover a strange figure lying battered and bruised in the water. Can he be the One?

They rescue the stranger; nurse him back to health only for his life to ebb away before them. Things will never be the same again.

Laying him in a small boat and deciding to set his soul free, the High Priestess finally realises what she must do to re-balance the world of night and day and fill the sky once more with stars...
