Elika Portnoy started her own movie production company Mutressa Movies in 2008.

Since then, she has produced the following feature length movies: "Beasts of no nation" directed by Cary Fukunaga and starring Idris Elba and Abraham Attah, film won several awards including Macelleo Mastroianni award at the 2015 Venice Film Festival.

Award winning film "Love is strange", directed by Ira Sachs and starring John Lithgow, Alfred Molina, Marisa Tomei.

Multi award winning film "The Voices", directed by Marjane Satrapi and starring Ryan Reynolds, Anna Kendrick and Jacki Weaver, "Sofia", a psychological thriller directed by Isaac Florentine and starring Christian Slater, Donald Sutherland and Timothy Spall; "Immigration Tango", a romantic comedy directed by David Burton Morris and starring Carlos Leon; and "Tricks of a woman" (Tricks Of Love), a romantic comedy directed by Todd Norwood and starring Vincent Pastore; Elika Portnoy and Natasha Lyonne another multi awards winning film.

Her movies have been in the official selection of Sundance, Venice, Telluride, Toronto, Tribecca. She has received numerous awards including "Best Picture" at the Monaco International Film Festival, at the Boston International Film Festival, at the South African International Film festival, as well as "Best of the fest" at the Palm Beach International Film Festival.

Elika Portnoy is also an actress and has most recently been part of the Disney movie "Mere et Fille". She acted in "The Driftless Area" apposite Anton Yelchin and "Sofia" opposite Christian Slater and Timothy Spall. She received "Best Actress" for "Tricks of a woman" at the Monaco International Film Festival.
