Zoi Florosz is an award-winning filmmaker, also a versatile singer/actress/dancer. She has studied classical music at Conservatory of Pecs, jazz voice at Liszt Ferenc Music Academy in Budapest. Returning back to New York City she worked in a musical theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Zoi also concluded her studies at Digital Film Academy in NYC as a filmmaker. As filmmaker she has worked on fine art music videos; dance films and documentaries; PBS specials, short and feature films as a producer, director, DP, editor, choreographer. She coordinated with large camera crews on locations worldwide in leading multi-camera studio shoots, and conducting exclusive interviews. Her work includes "Gametime" feature film, choreographic work and AD. Her award-winning short drama "BRUSHSTROKES" as a Director, Producer, Choreographer were she was awarded Best Independent Spirit Award at Angel Film Awards Monaco International Film Festival; and Best Independent Film at Winter Film Awards in NYC. In "Children of the Wind" a crossover music video-drama she performed as singer & actress, producer and editor. Film was selected officially shortlisted at the AFA - Monaco International Film Festival, and in numerous other International film festival screened in official selection for a World Peace Initiative and was invited to the Tolerance Gala Cannes 2016. “Children of the Wind” was also shown in official selection at the Cyprus International Film Festival; and Bridges International Film Festival Athens, Greece in 2017 winning an award for Best Live Performance & Soundtrack. Zoi worked as Associate Producer and USA-AD for the award-winning dramatic feature "Dream of a Shadow" and won the Nostimon Imar Award at the Cyprus International Film Festival, and Best Production design at Bridges Int'l Film Festival She has created a Film & Video Department at the legendary dance center New Dance Group working as Film & Video Director, creating a weekly TV show and working closely with choreographers. Zoi's experience, passion and understanding for music and dance gives her special perspective on how to choreograph for the camera, on how dance translates to digital media. She loves the musical format. Zoi is in preparation for a feature film about her visual artist parents’ artwork and life. Also a documentary feature working title “Project Mambo Kid”. She is classically trained singer, with concerts, performances around the world - USA, Dubai, Paris France, Athens Greece - musicals, cross over style, soundtrack for films. She choreographed for musicals, music videos, films. Musical roles include Josephine Baker in "My Love, Josephine". She is a regular performer at Birdland Jazz Club in New York, She choreographed “Jungle Book“ --the musical /LaMaMa Theatre and tour. She performed at Peace and Tolerance Gala in Cannes Film Festival, also at Tiffany's Paris Fashion Week 2017 @ the 5Star Shangri La Eiffel Tower Hotel, and Tiffany’s Red Carpet Fashion Week Cannes 2017 @ 5Star Intercontinental Carlton Hotel; Tiffany's Fashion Week Dubai @ The 5Star St. Regis Palace Dubai 2018.
