STORYLINE:
Through the Second World War's genocide, like the Jews, the Roma and Sinti were rounded up, disenfranchised, ghettoized and finally deported to the extermination camps, all in the name of National Socialist racial ideology. Even in these modern times out of the over 10 million Roma's and Sinti's in the world, many still suffer discrimination and prejudice and are living in poverty. This film would like to honor the memory of the victims of the Roma Holocaust using the Roma anthem "Gelem, Gelem" as the musical narrative.
